SellerSouk is a platform, not a seller, buyer, carrier, or broker.
We connect enterprise sellers and buyers across the GCC and provide listing, valuation, messaging, and payment facilitation tools. Except where we purchase an asset ourselves via an accepted instant offer, we are never a party to the underlying sale of goods, we never take title to or possession of any asset, and we do not provide shipping, delivery, freight, or customs clearance services. Buyers and sellers transact with each other, at their own risk and under their own legal responsibility, using the tools we provide.
SellerSouk is operated by Upcapital Global FZCO, a Better for You Brands company (Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE). By creating an account you agree to these terms as a seller, buyer, or both. SellerSouk is built for organizations across the GCC — including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman — and these terms apply equally regardless of which GCC country your organization is registered or located in.
SellerSouk facilitates the resale of enterprise assets between organizations. We provide AI-assisted valuation, listing tools, buyer/seller matching, on-platform messaging, and payment facilitation. We are an intermediary platform, not a merchant of record, retailer, auctioneer, freight forwarder, or agent for either party.
Except when we purchase an asset directly through an accepted instant offer, SellerSouk is never a party to the contract of sale between buyer and seller, never takes title to or physical possession of any listed asset, and does not inspect, certify, or guarantee any asset's condition, authenticity, legality, or fitness for purpose. Sellers alone are responsible for having the legal right to sell an asset, and for its accuracy, condition, and compliance with applicable law.
We charge a flat success fee of 10% of the gross sale price, plus 5% VAT on that fee (a tax we collect and remit, not additional platform revenue), deducted automatically from the seller's proceeds when a sale completes. If a real payment processor is used to move funds, its actual processing charges are passed through to the seller at cost — we never mark those up or add a second commission on top. There are no fees to list, browse, or make offers, and no other charges beyond these. If a sale is refunded through our dispute process, our fee is retained as the cost of handling that dispute.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of item descriptions, condition, and ownership. AI-generated valuations and descriptions are estimates and aids, not guarantees — sellers should review generated content before publishing.
Where a seller has connected a Stripe payout account, buyer payments are processed by Stripe and settle directly to the seller, minus our fee. Where no payout account is connected, transactions settle on our internal ledger and are reconciled to the seller by our team.
SellerSouk does not currently provide shipping, delivery, freight, collection scheduling, or customs clearance services. Coordinating how and when a sold asset physically changes hands — including any packaging, transport, insurance, and customs or import/export compliance for cross-border GCC trade — is solely the responsibility of the buyer and seller, arranged directly between them.
To keep a record that both sides — and SellerSouk, if a dispute is opened — can refer back to, we require this coordination to happen through the on-platform Questions & Answers tool rather than by phone, WhatsApp, or other off-platform channels. We may introduce dedicated logistics and delivery-tracking features in a future phase; until then, completion of a sale on SellerSouk reflects that payment has settled, not that the asset has been delivered or received.
Buyers and sellers may be registered in different GCC countries. Any customs duties, import/export permits, VAT or other tax obligations in the destination country, and compliance with each country's trade regulations are the responsibility of the transacting parties, not SellerSouk. We recommend confirming these requirements with the other party, using the on-platform Questions & Answers tool, before completing a cross-border purchase.
Either party may open a dispute within 14 days of a sale completing. SellerSouk reviews the evidence provided by both sides and may issue a full or partial refund, or deny the dispute. Our decision on a dispute is final. Our commission is not refunded when a dispute results in a refund. Because SellerSouk does not currently provide or verify delivery, disputes regarding non-delivery are resolved based on the evidence and on-platform communication both parties have provided, not on any delivery confirmation from us.
Email verification is required before buying, selling, or accepting offers. Trade license (KYB) verification is reviewed separately and may take longer; it does not block platform use but affects your organization's trust score.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, repeated disputes found against a party, non-payment, or violation of these terms.
SellerSouk provides valuation, listing, messaging, and payment-facilitation tools "as is," as a platform connecting independent buyers and sellers. We are not liable for: the condition, legality, authenticity, or fitness for purpose of any listed asset; losses arising from inaccurate self-reported condition or descriptions; buyer or seller conduct on or off the platform; the failure, delay, damage, or loss of any asset during collection or delivery arranged by the parties themselves; customs, import/export, or cross-border compliance failures; or third-party service outages (payment processing, email delivery, hosting). Our total liability to any user, to the extent permitted by UAE law, is limited to the platform fees we actually collected on the transaction giving rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, regardless of which GCC country a user is registered or located in. Disputes not resolved through our internal process are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts.
